Mike has over 25 years experience providing corporate finance advice to a range of clients including UK listed companies, owner managers, private equity groups and MBO teams. Mike has particular expertise of advising on transactions within the Human Capital Sector. He has advised on more than 50 acquisitions, disposals and fund raisings.
Mike co-founded Buckingham Corporate Finance which was subsequently merged into Regent Evolution. Before that Assay, Mike held Director roles at LSE listed Princedale Group plc, overseeing 35 corporate finance transactions, and at Deloitte Corporate Finance.
Pradip is an experienced investment banker within the technology, media and telecommunications sector. He is responsible for a wide range of advisory work and has managed over 80 assignments at Regent Assay in the areas of acquisition, divestment and sale of businesses, funding, valuation and strategy consulting.

Prior to joining Regent Assay, Pradip served as chief financial officer within a number of large European and US multinational IT corporations, generally with financial responsibility for operations throughout Europe. He has worked for EDS, International Data Corporation, Science Applications International Corporation and Equant Integration Services.
Pradip is a regular speaker/lecturer at TMT events/Institutions.
Pradip is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
Brett is a Partner in Transaction team based out of London.
Brett leads the team responsible for renewable energy as well as the oil and gas sectors.
Brett draws from over 30 years as a senior figure in financial services. In 1988 Brett founded National Futures & Options and as Managing Director, was involved in product development and education for large institutional clients in the use and value of derivative instruments. The company was sold to Fleming Martin (later JP Morgan) and he joined the board as director in charge of derivative trading responsible for the firm’s broking and proprietary trading book. During this time, he was appointed to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) committee that developed the rules for the warrant market in South Africa.
Brett was also Managing Director of Brait Securities responsible for establishing the equity and derivative broking operations, institutional sales, futures and options broking and liaison with the corporate finance division in respect of listings, mergers and acquisitions and all JSE related matters. He was also involved in the founding of the futures exchange in South Africa and served on the board of the South African Futures Exchange (SAFEX) for a number of years serving as Deputy Chairman. He remains a broking member of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
Brett relocated to the United Kingdom in 2005 and founded the CarbonDesk Plc which was the largest independent derivative broker when the carbon credit market was still buoyant.
Brett has an Honours degree in accounting from the University of Cape Town and an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.
Dolf has considerable experience in investment banking in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications industries. After an early career in strategic management consulting with The MAC Group, he joined Hambros Bank to focus on Mergers and Acquisitions. He then moved to the investment banking arm of WestLB, where he founded the Media & Telecommunications team and became Executive Director TMT Investment Banking.
Over the years Dolf has gained experience with a wide variety of transactions in the TMT sector including IPOs, secondary issues, Private Placements and Private Equity investments, in addition to Mergers & Acquisitions. He has worked with clients in many different segments of the TMT industry including, radio, television, film production and distribution, advertising, gaming, mobile apps, publishing, music, mobile marketing, social media, talent management, content marketing, Cable TV, telecommunications, telecoms technology, content management, navigation, Business Intelligence, retail technology, weather forecasting, travel technology, ERP, etc.
Dolf has a degree in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an MBA with distinction from INSEAD. Apart from English, he is fluent in Dutch, German and French.
A physics graduate with first class honours from Imperial College, London, James qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse before serving as chief financial officer within a number of large US multinational corporations, generally with financial responsibility for operations throughout Europe
He was the Director of Finance at Data Logic and the Managing Director of Persona (later floated as ilion group plc). James joined Regent in 1991. He has been responsible for many deals including the sale of Venture Information Management to Sword Group; the sale of Spargonet to CACI; the sale of Tax Computer Systems to investors led by MXC Capital; the disposal of the UK Forest Division of Tieto (Finland) to Version 1 (Ireland); the disposal of ECRC (Germany) by Fujitsu to Cable & Wireless; the sale of Icom (UK) to Keane (USA); the disposal by Skillsgroup (UK) of Nordic Datadistribution (Sweden) to Atle (Sweden); the disposal of Fujitsu’s Medical Portfolio (UK) to Siemens Nixdorf (Germany); and the acquisition by Sage (UK) of KHK (Germany).
He speaks French, German, Swedish and Finnish.
Amanda has worked in customer service environments for over 20 years, a major part of which was spent as a Manager for a major high street travel agency.
With considerable experience in building rapport and long-term relationships with clients from a variety of industries and sectors, Amanda is a key part of the Senior Management Team at EvolutionCBS and is responsible for a multitude of functions within the business including: Client Liaison, Credit Control, Supplier & Office Management, as well as managing diary and travel arrangements for the Directors and Chairman.
As an enthusiastic, positive and highly motivated individual, Amanda is extremely well suited to her busy and varied role at EvolutionCBS, where her excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as her ability to deliver exceptional results under pressure, are highly valued and relied upon by all!
Kay has 11 years experience in the M&A industry, following more than 20 years experience working at executive level in mid-market Technology, Manufacturing and Engineering companies.
Her range of skills include marketing, research and analysis and business development.
Having also been an owner/manager of her own business she also has considerable insight into the rewards and challenges of running a small private company.
For EvolutionCBS her role is to identify potential buyers or sellers for our clients’ businesses and to prepare the Information Memoranda and other documents required as part of a market approach.
Outside of work she is a keen golfer, follower of F1 racing and a proud grandmother to 3 grandsons.
