InfoFlex
UK based healthcare software specialist Chameleon Information Management Services Limited and its subsidiary, Flex Software Limited, trading as InfoFlex has been acquired by Civica UK Limited, the wholly owned subsidiary of Civica, a global leader in software for public services.
With over 25 years’ experience in the healthcare sector, InfoFlex provides a market-leading cloud enabled application with trust-wide and cross-organisation capabilities. A signatory to techUK's Health & Social Care Interoperability Charter, its software integrates with existing hospital systems, across 65 clinical specialities including; cancer services, digital remote monitoring solutions (RMS), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and endoscopy. InfoFlex has more than 40,000 users across over 130 NHS trusts. During the COVID-19 pandemic, trusts have used InfoFlex in innovative ways to manage data collection and reporting. In one example, West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust used the software to set up a Virtual Hospital for the administration of patients being cared for in the community.

Voicevale
Toyota Tsusho of Japan has acquired 20% of the shares in Voicevale Ltd, entering into a strategic partnership. Voicevale is a specialist importer of nuts, dried fruits & seeds, with offices in London, Paris, Hamburg and Beijing.
Stephen Bennett and Mike Simson acted for Voicevale on the transaction.
Verdict
Retail research company Verdict Research, which reports on the nation's buying habits, is being sold to Datamonitor for £4.7million.
The market research business, which was established in 1984 by entrepreneur Richard Hyman, is being sold for an initial £3.3m with a further £1.4m to be paid over the next three years subject to performance.
Verdict will join Datamonitor's consumer goods research arm and marks the company's first foray into retail research. It will also complement its offerings in the technology, logistics and financial services markets.
Hyman, a well-known industry figure who frequently contributes to television and radio programmes, will stay on as head of Verdict for a further three years.
Datamonitor plans to expand Verdict's operations beyond the UK to the rest of Europe and the US.
Uniq
Convenience food group Uniq has completed the sale of its UK poultry business to Sovereign Food Group, a subsidiary of Grampian Country Food Group, for £11.84million in cash.
A team led by Partner Mike Simson advised Uniq on the transaction. PWC provided vendor due diligence services and DLA acted as legal advisers to Uniq.
Troika
NYSE listed, global consulting group, Navigant Consulting has acquired UK financial services consultancy Troika.
The consulting firm provides operational, dispute, investigative, risk management and financial advisory solutions to legal counsel, government agencies and companies experiencing regulatory or structural challenges.
Troika provides consultancy services to the financial services industry covering operations performance improvement, product and distribution strategies, organisation, people, IT effectiveness and transaction support.
Stephen Bennett and Mike Simson advised Troika on the transaction.
SDI Displays Limited
A team led by Partner, Mike Simson advised the shareholders of the retail fittings designer and provider, SDI Displays on a sale of the company to its management team.
Funding for the transaction was provided by Lloyds Bank.
Gateley acted as lawyers for the SDI shareholders.
SAM
SAM, a distributer of motor spares from three branches in the South East has been acquired by Lloyd Motor Spares. Founded in 1976, Lloyd Motor Spares represents some of the world's premier automotive brands, including BMW, MINI, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo and Kia.
Roland Long Advertising
ISIS Private Equity Partners has taken a significant equity stake in regional advertising agency, Rolland Long Group.
We initiated the transaction and identified ISIS as the preferred investor.
RIM-Tech A.S
RIM-Tech a.s, large Czech plastic parts supplier, has been acquired by Polimoon Group BV, a leading European plastics products producer. Regent Assay introduced the buyer.
Rapita
Rent Assay successfully advised the shareholders of Rapita Systems Ltd (“Rapita”), a leading provider of real-time verification solutions for aerospace and automotive embedded systems, on the sale of their business to Danlaw Inc. (“Danlaw”), a global connected vehicle, automotive electronics and embedded engineering enterprise.
